Stylishly Designed, Inside & Out
Following a classic hatchback profile and featuring Toyota insignia on the front grille with two chrome headlamps and fog lamps, the Starlet’s the contoured side profile creates a sense of dynamism that is echoed in its interior accents. Together with its prominent wheel arches and large rear LED lamps, the Starlet is a handsome urban runner. All models come standard with ABS, EBD, Brake Assist (BA) and Vehicle Stability Control (VSC), as well as Hill Assist Control (HAC) in the automatic transmission models. In the Xi and Xs models, you’ll find Driver and Passenger (D+P) airbags as well as Curtain and Side airbags (C+S) in the Xr variants. All models include two ISOFIX points and a security system.
Unbridled Performance & Entertainment
Under the Starlet’s hood is a powerful 1.5-litre DOHC four-cylinder engine that puts out as much as 68kW @ 6000 rpm with 130Nm of torque @ 4200 rpm. With the choice of 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic (all front-wheel drive), you’ve got all the power you need on the road - and more. When it comes to entertainment, the Starlet has it all, from a double-DIN audio system with CD/Bluetooth/USB/Aux functionality, playing through 6-speakers in the Xi and Xs models to the Xr model’s touchscreen infotainment system, fully integrated with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay for navigation, telephony and streaming. The models all feature USB, Bluetooth and MP3/Aux compatibility as well as reverse camera monitoring and the Toyota Connect telematics system that includes an in-car Wi-Fi hotspot and complimentary 15Gb data.
